Why Learn to Dance?

parties, band concerts, weddings or any special event, and

know that you can get up and dance if you want to.


Dancing can improve your social life and romantic life. It is a

great way to have fun and meet people in a safe, positive,

environment.

Furthermore, new studies now credit Ballroom dance as one of the most effective forms of combined physical, cognitive and socialization therapy.  It is highly effective in treatment and/or maintenance of:

Cardiac ailments including recovery from Cardiac Surgery
  from injury and surgery,

Alzheimer’s Disease (ongoing learning activities, particularly ballroom dance, released chemicals in the brain that help to hold off the effects of Alzheimer's)

Parkinson’s Disease (Ballroom dance has been shown to help Parkinson’s patients to retrain their bodies to overcome areas of damage.
