Our goal, when we first created
Beginning Ballroom, was to set
ourselves apart from other
commercial ballroom dance
companies.  We had 3 initial precepts
in mind:

1) Be more accessible: by offering multiple classes at a variety of locations around the Baltimore/Metro area, we are able to meet more people’s scheduling needs.

2) Be more affordable: by making those locations community-based (i.e., YMCAs, JCCs, Schools, Churches, Synagogues etc.) we are able to keep our costs down to well below that of most of our true competition, while providing a higher quality service.   

3) Be less intimidating: because we bring these classes to such locations, which are generally familiar to the people who attend them, and more comfortable than going to a commercial studio setting, we are able to make taking dance lessons something students can look forward to!

Furthermore, we offer our private lessons at our home-based studio, far from prying eyes, which allows us to continue to keep your comfort up and your pricing down!
